Big Draw Bus Tour

As part of the annual Big Draw on October 15th Our Hut and the Twentieth Century Society lead a group of lucky people on an architectural exploration of the 24 bus route in a Routemaster bus, learning about the buildings as well as drawing and photographing them. The route began at Stockwell Bus Garage finished, stopping off at Churchill Gardens in Pimlico, 55 Broadway in Victoria, up to the ‘Black Cat Building’ by Mornington Crescent tube station, and then the Fleet Road Estate in Camden and a final stop on Waterloo Bridge to look at the South Bank Centre on the way back. For further information about the twentieth century buildings that were included in the tour please look on the front page of the Twentieth Century Society website.
